The Owners Corporation undertakes the repair and maintenance of the common property, usually by directing the actions of the OC Manager, who is employed by the Owners Corporation.
All apartment owners are members of the Owners Corporation and can participate in decisions by attending the annual general meeting and offering to serve on the committee.
The committee is elected by the members of the Owners Corporation at the annual general meeting. The committee acts on behalf of members between annual general meetings and oversees the running of the Owners Corporation. The Owners Corporation may impose certain limits on the committee.
The building is also governed by the general and additional rules, available in the vendor’s statement to the purchaser or in electronic or hard-copy format from the OC Manager.
